1. Maserati GranTurismo Convertible - the car will be identical to the original hardtop model and it will be known as the GranCabrio. In order to save weight, the Italian engineers used a soft top, which will drop in roughly 28 seconds. The car offers enough space for four adults, a rare situation among convertible cars;
2. McLaren MP4-12C - not until recently, McLaren and Mercedes-Benz were an item. Now, McLaren decided to break the friendship and opened a factory in United Kingdom. Their first car will be the MP4-12C, a car that similar to the famous McLaren F1, got its inspiration from the Formula One technology. The car will be equipped with a 3.8 liter V8 engine capable of outputting a whopping 600 horse power. The body of the MP4-12C is made out of carbon fiber and composite materials. It can be yours for approximately 300,000 $;
3. Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Gullwing - the re-launch of the Gullwing was a real breakthrough in the history of Mercedes-Benz. This new SLS AMG Gullwing model will be the first supercar to see the light of day thanks to the collaboration with AMG, after dropping the partnership with McLaren. The car will feature the same amazing classic gullwing doors as the 300SL which was manufactured in the 1950s. Of course, these doors were updated to the current technology. The engine will be a 6.3 liter V8 mated with a 7 speed dual clutch transmission, pretty impressive;
4. Porsche 911 GT2 - this will be the fastest street legal ever to leave the line of productions. The new model will have 90 more horsepower in comparison with the regular 911. Not only it will be powerful but it will also be lighter, 154 pounds to be more exact. Top speed will be over 200 mph. Expected date of launch in United States is in October 2010. The car will need only 3, 5 seconds to reach 60 mph from 0 thanks to the 3.6 liter boxer engine. The hood and many other components are made out of carbon;
5. Porsche 911 Turbo S - The latest iteration of the iconic Porsche 911 the Turbo S will arrive in the U.S. in spring 2010 as a 2011 model with more punch and power than before. It will be equipped with a 3.8 twin turbo 6 cylinder engine capable of outputting 530 horsepower, which is a good solid 30 more power in comparison with the current model. It will only need 3, 3 seconds to reach 60 mph and will have a fuel consumption of 24 mpg on the highway.
