Enzo Ferrari, iconic founder of the Italian giant, truly believed that his cars were meant to be driven. He had little time for those who would store one of his creations in a barn for future sale or appreciation. Wise sentiments, but there are not too many places where one can truly enjoy an exotic car in the spirit within which it was created.

Enter the Exotic Rally. These events have sprung up in popularity over the last decade and seek to bring together like-minded individuals in a common environment, combining the good things in life with a shared passion - driving.

Exotic rally driving is not your Colin McRae-style sideways-and-mud-splattered adventure, rather a sophisticated, enjoyable and fun few days of exploration. These events are intricate and take place at some of the most beautifully scenic locations. Luxury hotels host overnight dinners, rest, relaxation and social interaction, whilst some of the most awesome back roads and byways await the exotic rally drivers by day.

The United States of America is blessed with very many potential Exotic Rally locations. The state of California by itself has probably a dozen templates. What is certain is that, as the number of exotic car owners continues to grow, more and more drivers are going to take Enzo Ferrari's example and will enter an exotic rally, to truly sample the car of their childhood dreams.
