Basis of Exotic Car Transport

If a person has Exotic car he/she will think twice before parking it in the garage at home. He wants to keep it away from dents, scratches. He is very concerned about his car because it is very expensive. He does not allow anybody to lay a hand on it. But in certain circumstances when you have to move overseas you have to handle your vehicle to an auto transport company.
To ship an exotic car, you cannot go in for a cheap option. Choose a company that has certain years of experience in shipping an exotic vehicle. This is very important because you cannot hand over your truck to a company who has just entered this business. Once you have selected your auto transport company just check out if you want an enclosed carrier or open one. An enclosed carrier would be a better choice because your exotic vehicle will be protected from certain elements like sun, heat, rain, snow etc.
Before shipping your auto car, just check out with the auto transport company that it is being insured. If anything happens to your truck while it is in transit you can claim for the damages from them. Do check they have an insurance certificate. You can visit even their insurance agent and collect information as to how much they will be paid if anything happens to their vans.
Shipping an exotic car may be a stressful work. So it would be advisable that you note down if there are any damages before shipping your vehicle. Do take some photographs for future reference. Before shipping your exotic truck do keep certain things in mind:
Do empty all the items inside the van. This should be done because the transporter will not compensate if anything is missing in the vehicle. Plus, if there are items that can cause damage, you will not be compensated for that. See that tires and batteries are in working condition. This should be done because the transporter will charge extra if it the car does not move properly. Do not fill the entire tank with gas as this can increase the weight of the vehicle. If your car gets damaged while loading or offloading, do record them.
Before shipping your car, do receive an original Inspection report from the auto transport company. This shows the condition of your car at the time of pick up, current mileage delivery and pick up information.
